City of Bellevue

What is the service?  Offers emergency hardship assistance.
Who is eligible to use it?  Available to all Bellevue residents.
When is it available?  One time per year.
Can it be used repeatedly? No. After 3 years in a row of assistance you need to wait 2 before being approved again.

ENCAP (Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership)

What is the service? Family development services, food pantry, transportation and behavioral health assistance.
Who is eligible to use it?  Available to low income Sarpy County residents.
When is it available?  Throughout the year.
Can it be used repeatedly? No. After 3 years in a row of assistance you need to wait 2 before being approved again.

OneWorld Health Centers

What is the service? Provides a vast range of services in health care, dentistry and behavioral health.
Who is eligible to use it? Available to low income individuals and families with payments based on a sliding scale basis.
When is it available? Year round.
Is a referral needed?  No

Sarpy County Human Services

What is the service?  Offers assistance with rent, utilities, non-food vouchers, medicines and cremation.
Who is eligible to use it?  Available to individual or married Bellevue residents with no minor children whose income/resources are below the general assistance guidelines and unable to provide for his/her own needs through other resources. We are a payer of last resort.
When is it available?  After application approval.
Is a referral needed?  No

Sarpy County Sheriff’s Community Relations

What is the service? Donations of household goods and services.
Who is eligible to use it?  Available to all Bellevue residents, upon request, if item is available.
When is it available?  When available, upon request.
Is a referral needed?  No, if agency calls for the request.
Can it be used repeatedly?  It depends on the situation and the request.
