A great time was had by all in the first annual Serving For a Stronger Community Corporate Challenge Pickleball Tournament, organized by the Sarpy County Chamber Legacy Group! The purpose of the event was two-fold: First, to raise funds to help pay down Sarpy County students’ school lunch debt, and secondly, to raise awareness about the food insecurities that exist in Sarpy County.
The event was held at the AMAZING Smash Park in LaVista (WOW, Wow and WOW!!! Just a perfect venue for your next corporate or family outing!) and attendees enjoyed an afternoon of spectacular food, drink and, of course, pickleball! Young and old, newbies and semi-pros took to the courts to battle it out.
