Community Collaborative Meeting: Resources and Support for Children and Families of Immigrants

Hybrid Options: In-person at Project Everlast, 314 S. 26th St. and a Zoom option will be offered.

Together with The Bridge from Omaha, Lift Up Sarpy County is collaborating to create a safe space to collect and discuss resources for children and families of immigrants.

Who should attend?

Any school district, or family-serving agency/organization seeking specific information about available community resources

 

What is the purpose?

  • Attendees will leave with names, contact information, and a list of resources
    • Gaps in services identified and addressed
    • The opportunity to ask questions and collaborate
    • A community effort to keep children out of foster care

 

Types of resources being presented 

  • Concrete supports for emergency distribution o Financial, household, hygiene, etc.
  • Legal rights and responsibilities
  • Foster care, family finding, kinship navigation
  • Mental and behavioral health needs
